Covered assembly area
A covered assembly area for Centro Escolar San Andres in the departamento of Ahuachapan.

Three Classrooms
Centro Escolar Nuestra Senora del Refugio in the rural departamento of Ahuachapan. This project included a covered stairway.

Centro Escolar Santa Familia, San Vicente
TLAU has paid for the raw materials and specialized labor to build the covered play area, four classrooms, one library, computer lab with computers, and chapel. You might want to mention that this project was possible because of the generosity of one woman, Regina Johnson, and the project was completed in memory of her late husband and late mother. Also, she's the one who wanted to donate money for the chapel.

Three Classrooms and Lavatory
Centro Escolar San Jose La Labor; San Sebastian, Departamento de La Paz, El Salvador

TLAU helped pay for the necessary land, three new classrooms, and bathrooms with sinks, flush toilets, and a steady water supply. Special thanks is due to Gil and Ethel Hirscher from St. Mark's Parish in Wilmington for their generosity with this project.

Two Classroom Buildings
Centro Escolar Santa Monica; Quezaltepeque; La Libertad, El Salvador

Santa Monica is a very overcrowded school in a rural town with significant economic and gang problems.  They have 245 students and only 3 proper classrooms and 2 makeshift classrooms.  TLAU is sponsoring a project to replace the makeshift classrooms with proper brick structures.

Arambala is a small orphange facility for abandoned and special needs children in an extremely remote village of El Salvador.

Two new classroom buildings to provide adequate teaching room to rural village of Tamanique.  Parents donated over 1800 hours of labor in this effort!

Six Classroom Buildings
Escuela Parroquial de Santo Domingo de Guzman

Six Classroom buildings in the small village of Santo Domingo. Enrollment increased from 175 students to nearly 400 students as a result

Water Tank

Water tank to provide drinking water to the school.  The tanks even out unsteady water flow, provide water pressure, and allow for purification.

Computer Room

Computer room furnished with computers and proper equipment. Completed through a special gift form the Nolan family.

Bathrooms & Drinking Water

Bathrooms replaced an overused latrine at the growing school. A water fountain and several sinks were also added.
